Commercial Excellence

The Commercial team provides financial, commercial and contractual leadership to the media agencies to ensure the delivery of contractual commercial terms and the achievement of revenue and profit targets for both existing and new global clients.

Client Leadership teams guide our global clients to ensure their marketing messages reach their target audiences. This team drives best-in-class strategic thinking, building agency capabilities to drive efficiency, effectiveness, ignite innovation and give scale to truly creative ideas. The team not only provides media-led solutions to our global client’s business problems of today, but are constantly looking to the future to find tomorrow's answers too.

Insights, Media Strategy & Planning

The insights team possess a deep understanding of consumer behaviour and audiences. They design, manage and communicate research and data analysis work, providing consumer insights to the media strategists who then create and present innovative, strategic solutions to client challenges. The strategies are then executed by the media planning and buying teams.


Digital specialists deliver the best possible digital strategy and solutions for both existing and new clients. They ensure high quality digital thinking is at the heart of all communication solutions, and that the right resources are in place to deliver it. They work closely with Media Partners such as Google and Facebook to enable them to allow our digital product to be continually evolving and innovating.

New Business Development

New Business Development is a core function responsible for developing and driving the plan to grow existing and new business globally. Due to the competitive nature of the business, the team continuously reinvent New Business and pitching, and share best in class communications with key stakeholders and local market teams.

Business Strategy

The Strategy Development team work closely with Business Leaders to accelerate the execution and the evolution of business strategy for our global clients. They achieve this by setting the strategy; gathering and presenting intelligence; and activating initiatives critical to growth.



In simple terms, our Investment teams are responsible for getting the right media, for the right price at the right time. But make no mistake, it’s a complex challenge. The team guide and educate our buying community, provide business critical and impartial advice on investment decisions for our network and our clients and play a key role in maximising the return on investment on marketing spend globally.

Global Media Partnerships

Our Global Media Partnerships team own and drive Dentsu Aegis Network’s strategic partnerships with some of the world’s biggest technology and media companies.

By working together with partners including Google, Facebook and Amazon our team delivers real, useable solutions and tools that solve the challenges of communication planning today. These have included revolutionising the way we plan TV and mobile campaigns, finding new ways to unite creative and data, to machine learning and AI.


Traditional trading was all about media buying, but as we embrace a truly diversified and digitally-driven marketing landscape, our high-performing Commercial teams are now responsible for seeking out new platforms, ideas, channels and opportunities across all forms of media for clients, and for our network. The Story Lab

The Story Lab is a global investor, producer and distributor of digital content, TV and film.

At ‘The Story’ our entertainment experts work with some of the biggest brands in the world to produce branded content that engages audiences beyond traditional advertising.
